As summer comes to a close, we want to review our company’s accomplishments, celebrate our team members, share the events we were part of, and anything else that we completed during our busiest season of the year!

Grand Opening of Our New Location

We opened a new Colorado Golf & Turf location on May 19 and so far, we have been very encouraged by what the team has accomplished. From selling, servicing, and renting cars, they are a critical part of our goal to better care for our customers on the western slope.

Andy, the General Manager, and Tyler, the Service Technician, have been working hard and are excited to continue growing the Grand Junction location. Jason, our long-time Road Service Technician on the western slope loves the company in town!

It’s been a dream of Tom Bauerle’s (Colorado Golf & Turf Owner) for the last 15 years to open a location in Grand Junction. We are overjoyed that we were able to make his dream come true!

Team Celebrations

We said “congratulations” to many of our team members! We wouldn’t be where we are without them, so we want to recognize their accomplishments and thank them for many years of service!

Events

Earlier this year, we began working with GEM Electric Vehicles to sell their products in our showroom. We received our first GEM car in June! You can check out GEM Electric Vehicles in our showroom or on our website today.

On June 13, we attended a Field Renovation Day with Colorado Sports Field Management Association. The purpose of the event was to rejuvenate the baseball and softball fields at Manual High School. We brought the Cub Cadet Pro Z 972 S KW Zero-Turn Mower and a couple other Cub Cadet products. It was a successful day!

June 20, we had a team picnic! We are so thankful for our wonderful employees, good food, and a company we are proud of.

June 22, Club Car taught our service department about the brand-new Lithium-Ion battery for the Carryall 500, 502, 550, and 700!

Throughout the entire summer, especially July, our Sales, Service, and Delivery departments were extremely busy!! They were delivering golf cars and completing road service all over the state of Colorado and even to Wyoming and Nebraska. We met with clients, attended many trade shows, had great adventures, got some golfing in, and best of all, provided the best service for our customers!

August 5, Colorado AvidGolfer and AvidLifestyle hosted a charity event supporting Bags of Fun. The event is called “Wheels of Dreams”, and it is one we’ve been part of for the last few years and look forward to attending in the future!

At the end of August each year, we deliver corn and peaches to many of the golf courses that we work with. We begin on the western slope and make our way all the way back to our main location in Littleton. It is an extremely fun thing that we do for our customers! We love getting to see the golf course, talk with our customers, check on our golf cars, and put smiles on people’s faces. We always have a little bit of corn and peaches leftover which makes our employees happy!

Customers

We love seeing our customers enjoy their products. Check out this great photo of a customer and his granddaughter enjoying a Cub Cadet mower!

We completed a custom golf car build. It was a black, 2-passenger Onward with yellow and red seats and decals on the front and the sides. It was a fun project! See other custom golf cars we’ve done here.

We have been working with the town of Vail to help them on their journey to going all electric. Recently, they expanded the program that has taken large delivery trucks out of the core of town and replaced them with small electric vehicles for deliveries. Learn more here! We are excited to continue working with Vail and other Colorado mountain towns by providing electric vehicles that fit their needs.

Conclusion

While we love the busy summer season, we are excited to slow down and get some more quality time together as a company, while still providing the best service for our customers. We have many exciting events, new golf cars, and more coming in the rest of 2023 and we are excited to share it with you.

Thank you for being here and for taking time to celebrate another great summer season!
